There are plenty of things to do in and around the eastern coastline of the Costa del Sol.
A local company offers Jeep Safaris that take on scenic tours of the beautiful surrounding countryside of Nerja. In the summer months you can atke a welcome dip in one of the waterfalls.

Watersports are are on offer on many beaches within this region. Burriana in Nerja offers Jets Skis, banana rides,parascending, pedalos and Kayak tours which take you along the cliff face to Maro. Ferrara beach on Torrox Costa offers pedalos and small motor boats. Further afield La Herradura (about twenty minutes drive from Nerja) is a watersport centre.

Golf courses are a plenty throughout the Costa del Sol with Baviera being the closest. Just a fifteen minute drive from Nerja.
Anoreta is a further ten to fifteen minutes drive but offers a more challenging course.
Salobrena is a twenty to twenty five minute drive from Nerja which offers eighteen holes over a reasonably flat course. Placed directly on the sea front this course can be challenging.

Aqua Velis is the local water park and is located at Torre del Mar and is open daily from mid June through to mid September, The park is just a 15 minute drive from Nerja and has plenty of parking spaces. There is a wide selection of rides available which will suit all of the family.
Aqua Tropic is situated in Almunecar, around twenty five minutes drive from Nerja. This water park is salt water and is open throughout the day from June to September. Again there are plenty of rides to suit all of the family.

Just fifiteen minutes drive form Nerja you will find two specialised Go Karting tracks. These are open all year round and offer bags of fun for all you racers out there.
For the more adventurous there are quad bike and buggy tours available. These will take you into the mountain terrain surrounding this area of the Costa del Sol. Enabling you to view the pure beautiful of the environment and local wildlife.
Scuba Doo is a Padi accredited Scuba diving school based in torrox Costa, which offers diving courses for the beginner and trips for the qualified.
Buceo Nerja based on Burriana Playa also offers Padi accredited training course and dives for the qualifed divers.
Horse riding and pony trekking is easily arranged through a selection of schools placed in the surrounding areas of Nerja, Frigiliana and Torrox.
