The celebrations start on the night of January 5th. When the three kings travel through the streets of the Costa and the village, throwing sweets into the crowds. The tour ends with the Three Kings meeting with the local children to ask "what gifts they would like for the following day. Traditionally, Christmas gifts are exchanged on January 6th (Three Kings Day) here in Spain.

Carnival time is in February. This normally takes place in the second week and consists of the local school children parading through the streets.

The Festival of San Antonio is on June 13 and is held in the lower part of the village close to the old sugar factory.

The Feast of San Juan is held on the night of June 23rd. The local tradition is to spend the night on the beach, entering the sea at midnight to wash away your sins.

Torrox fiesta take place throughout the year

The festival of international dance takes within the village square during the first week of August.

The festival in honour of the patron saints of the town, Virgen de las Nieves and San Roque, takes place on August 5 and includes a procession through the streets with local dancing and music played in the town square.

The medieval feria is a new celebration to the village and takes place on the last weekend of August. This includes, acts, dancing and music travelling through the ages.

The festival of the Candelaria, takes place on the first week of September. This is to celebrate the end of the summer and the beginning of the new farming season. Locals make for the countrysode for a whole weekend of festivities, which includes a lot of noisy fireworks.

The Feria takes place on the first weekend of October and causes the car park and village square to be taken over for the duration of the four days. Shows, rides and activities take place throughout the day and well into the night.

The Fiesta de la Migas takes place on the last Sunday before Christmas and enables visitors to sample the local dish of migas accompanied with a mixed salad and local wines. The festivities take over the village with people travelling from miles around.
